Hi Group, long time no see...


Finally found myself a GS v2.1 and cannot get the image to load in. I keep getting that blasted "Updates are Failed" notice.


I've tried the 1.0 and the new one, also tried updating with a Linksys update (router firmware is 4.1.x) with no luck.


I've tried the 30-30-30 with no luck.. Anyone have any ideas?

Are you trying to load a TRX or BIN file?

Updates are failed is common when the binary you are loading contains the wrong 2-byte header. I am glad you got it working. You had me scratching my head for a minute.

As was I, this is router #6 in my stable, and I've never encountered this problem before...
